Sunflower Square: This pattern contains directions to knit the bedspread pictured. Officially named Sunflower by Coats and Clarks, vintage 1960s, is quite an abstract floral piece. Made in blocks that are 8 inches square and then combined to form a spread that measures 74 x 107 inches for single, or 91 x 107 for double. Long fingers of fringe are added to 3 sides.
Materials: J. & P. COATS "KNIT-CRO-SHEEN," Art. A. 64: For Single Size-74 x 107 inches (excluding fringe): 55 balls of No. 1 White, No. 61 Ecru or No. 42 Cream, or 79 balls of any color. For Double Size-91 x 107 inches (excluding fringe): 66 balls of No. 1 White, No. 61 Ecru or No. 42 Cream, or 94 balls of any color; Double-pointed sock needles No. 0 or No. 13 (2 mm. size).
