Flower & Fruit Afghan : This pattern contains instructions to crochet, then embroider, the tapestry afghan pictured above. What a delightful piece! This is a block afghan, to which motifs of apple, grape, pear, cherry, pansy, and Black-Eyed-Susan's are embroidered. And then, for just the right finishing touch, a long and thick fringe is added. Of course, pattern blocks for each of the embroidered motifs are included. A lot of work with this one ... but, what marvelous results. The finished afghan measures 46 x 62 inches, before fringe. Half page charts for each cross stitch motif.
