Filet Crocheted Chair Set:  These filet crochet designs (the large one measures 15x 16 inches and the small one 6 1/4 x 13 inches) are to be worked in string. They may be used for chair back sets, scarf ends and buffet sets.

This is a Mail Order Design Pattern purchased through newspapers.   The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 1224 in 1936.   The newspaper description:  "Filet crochet in a fresh new design, is an easy way to bring new life and lovliness to the 'forgotten' chair. Scarf ends can also be made this easy way".

 MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: Unbleached crochet and knitting cotton (800 yards to the skein) and a No. 7 steel crochet hook.
