Double Fan Crochet Runner Pattern, Mail Order E-1180

Crocheted Runner:  This pattern gives directions to crochet the runner shown.   This design, with pattern directions written old style, features a double fan bordering an inside of mesh.  Two sizes - 15 x 27 or 15 x 33 inches.  Scarfs will be slightly smaller.

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as E-1180 by Needlework Bureau in 1948.   

Materials: 700 yds white or Ecru mercerized thread makes the set;   #1 steel crochet hook-If #10 thread is used;   #4 steel crochet hook.
