Double Fan Crochet Runner Pattern, Mail Order E-1180

Crocheted Runner:  This pattern gives directions to crochet the runner shown.   This design, with pattern directions written old style, features a double fan bordering an inside of mesh.

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as E-1180 by Needlework Bureau.  The newspaper description:  "This pretty crochet runner is fashioned of the mesh and fan design for a dresser or chest. Two sizes - 15 x 27 or 15 x 33 inches".

Materials: 

• 700 yds white or Ecru mercerized thread makes the set.
• #1 steel crochet hook-If #10 thread is used 
• #4 steel crochet hook. Scarfs will be slightly smaller.
