Description

Crocheted Doily :   This pattern contains directions for a crocheted oval doily in a pinwheel design. Either fine or heavy cotton may be used; in white or a pastel color.  Crochet this design at 12 x 22, 13 x 24 or 17 x 33 inches.   

This is a Mail Order Design pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.   The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 684 in 1957.   The pattern was included in the 1950 Laura Wheeler Needlework Catalog, as well as the 1962 Needlecraft Pattern Catalog.
