Delightful Crochet Doily Pattern Design 2590

Delightful Doily: This pattern contains directions to crochet the doily pictured. This pretty piece with a changing pattern motif -- from flower to eight point star and a shell scalloped border - is worked in Mercerized Crochet Cotton. The finished doily will measure 15 inches in diameter.

This is a Mail Order Pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.   This pattern was marketed as Peggy Roberts R-2590 (Needlework Bureau) as well as Anne Cabot. The pattern was included in the Anne Cabot 1975 Needlework Album. 

Materials:  5 balls (75 yards each) of Mercerized Crochet Cotton. (Star Mercerized Crochet Cotton #20 was used for model);   No 10 Steel Crochet Hook.
