Daisy Star Crocheted Doily No 2683

Crocheted Doily : This pattern contains directions to crochet the doily pictured. This vintage 1960's design is worked in No 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and features a changing motif from an either point star, to shell flowers, mesh and then culminating to a large shell scalloped border. The finished doily, named Daisy Star, will measure 21 inches in diameter.

This is a Mail Order Pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Peggy Roberts 2687 (Needlework Bureau).  The newspaper description:  "Give your table that extra touch which bring admiring glances from your friends.This 21 inch centerpiece is quickly and easily crocheted and makes a stunning edition to any room".

Materials:   9 small balls of White or Ecru Mercerized Crochet Cotton, size 30;   Steel Crochet Hook No 10 (Standard Size)
