Crocheted Flower Garden Diamond Afghan Pattern

Flower Garden:   This pattern contains instructions to crochet the afghan pictured.  This vintage 1950's design is crocheted in white with a bordered diamond motif.  To this, flower centers are embroidered in loop stitch.   This design is quite a textural delight.  It will measure 60 x 71 inches when completed. 

Materials: 

• AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY "DAWN" KNITTING WORSTED, 84 ounces White, 2 ounces Green, 1 ounce Dk. Green, 1 ounce Med. Blue, 2 ounces Amber, 1 ounce Scarlet, 1 ounce Violet, 1 ounce Dk. Violet, 1/3 ounce Pink, 1/3 ounce Lt. Pink  
• Plastic Crochet Hook size H OR ANY SIZE HOOK WHICH will result in stitch gauge
