This one is made of bright blue wool, banded in pure white. Use black and red, red and white, green and white if you prefer. Whatever color is used - it's still a warm vestee.

Description

Crocheted Vestee:  This pattern gives directions to crochet the fitted vest picture.  This relatively easy pattern is in a fitted style, with contrast bands, v-neckline and shaped hemline.  The design is misses size 14 - 16 - 18. 

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot 5423 in 1943.  

MATERIALS: 5 (6) balls of Shetland Floss, navy blue. balls of Shetland Floss, white. 4 pearl buttons, 3/4 inch in diameter. NEEDLE: 01 steel crochet hook.
