Description
Spider Web Doily: This pattern gives directions to crochet the doily shown. Vintage late 1950's from American Thread, the doily has a choice of two materials to make large doilies at either 17 or 19 inches in diameter. As you'd expect, this is a loose and lacy delight.
Materials Required:
- AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY The Famous "PURITAN" STAR SPANGLED MERCERIZED CROCHET COTTON, Article 40 – 2 balls Silver Spangle or color of your choice. (Approximate size: 19 inches in diameter) and Steel crochet hook No. 7.
- OR The Famous "PURITAN" MERCERIZED CROCHET COTTON, Article 40 – 1 ball White or color of your choice. (Approximate size: 17 inches in diameter) and Steel crochet hook No. 7.
- OR "GEM" MERCERIZED CROCHET COTTON, Article 35, size 30 – 1 ball White or color of your choice, (Approximate size: 11 inches in diameter) and Steel crochet hook No. 12.
