Description

Crocheted Round Shawl:  This pattern gives directions to crochet the shawl pictured.   This is a quite lovely design in a lacy variable pattern stitch featuring shells and stitched in sequins for a touch of glamour.  The pattern is one-size. 

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Peggy Roberts R2620 in 1947.

MATERIALS: 8 oz. of 3 ply fingering wool. Bone crochet hook no. 5 

GAUGE: 5 ch sts equal 1 inch; 4 dc equal 1 inch; 5 rows of dc equal 3 inches
