Crochet Pinwheel Square Laura Wheeler Design 2773

Crocheted Square:  This crocheted square can be made either of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton or of No.30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. When joined together the squares form bedspreads, cloths, scarfs, pillows, chair sets, buffet sets and other household articles.   Depending upon your material selection, the square will measure 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 or 5-1/2 x 5-1/2 inches.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through nespaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 2773 in 1941

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: Unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins and a No. 8 steel crochet hook or No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No. 10 steel crochet hook.   Each square requires approximately 31 yards of heavy cotton or 20 yards of fine cotton.
