Description

Crocheted Doily:  This pattern gives directions to crochet the doily pictured.  "A lacy 18" centerpiece is worked in a popular star design and finished with a pineapple edging. Interesting crochet work.  

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Design No 1206 by both Martha Madison and Ellen Bruce in 1957.  This pattern was included in the 1962 Little Catalog of Just Doilies.  

Materials: 1 - 700 yd ball mercerized crochet cotton #10 1 - #1 crochet hook.
