Crochet Pineapple Doily Pattern Design 1152

Crocheted Circular Pineapple Doily : This pattern gives directions to crochet the doily shown. "This circular one measures approximately 14 to 15 inches when finished. For a smaller doily, to be used under glass, a number 20 or 30 thread may be substituted for the original requirements. White, mercerized, crochet cotton is an ideal medium for this lovely piece. Colored thread may be substituted when using finer materials."

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed by Needlework Bureau under No 1152 in 1942.

Materials:  1 Skein Mercerized Crochet Cotton, (700 yards each);   1 Steel Crochet Hook no 5.    A Completed doily measures approximately 15 inches. For a smaller doily, use #30 thread and #9 hook or #20 thread and #8 hook.
