Description

Crochet Doilies: This pattern gives directions to crochet the doily shown. "When finished it's as lovely as an old-fashioned sunburst brooch. The doily is simple to crochet though the design looks intricate. Just 11-1/2 inches in diameter, it is a 'middle sized doily -- neither too big nor too small".

This is a Mail Order pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs. This pattern is Anne Cabot's 5448, released in 1942.     The pattern was featured in the Anne Cabot 1943 Spring Needlework Album.

MATERIALS:  3 balls silky crochet cotton in white or colors;   NEEDLE: Steel crochet hook #10 or 11.
