Crochet Motif Square Pattern No 97

Crocheted Motif:   This pattern gives directions to crochet a small medallion and a small square.  The medallions and squares can be used individually, or combined, to form doilies, and other household articles.  The round medallion measures 2-1/4 inches and the squares are 1 inch each.  

Note:  The photo on this pattern is out of focus.   It is, however, the best I could get it.  

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Martha Madison No 97 between 1960 and 1963.  

Material: About 10 yards of #30 Crochet Cotton will make each 2-1/2-inch diameter Round Medallion; and 5 yards will make the 1-inch Square. Use #10 steel Crochet hook.
