Description

Crocheted Hot Mats:  This pattern gives directions to crochet the mats pictured. One mat is round and two are variations of oval with an interesting motif.  The actual size of the mats are not stated.  

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot 5538 in 1947. 

Materials:  14 - 60 yard balls of White, Size 5; 6 - 60 yard balls of Green, Size 5;  Needle: Steel crochet hook #4.  (Mats are made with double thread)
