This amazing big green leaf would almost take a prize at a flower show - and it certainly will take a real prize at your church Bazaar. It's 9 by 8 inches big - is made in two sections, is padded so that the "holding" surface is firm and thick. The two separate sections are whipped together with your crochet hook. One side is dark green with the leaf-veins in a lighter shade. The other side is light green with the dark green used for the veins. The stem is a crocheted cord.

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot 5391 in 1942.  

MATERIAL: 1 ball light green Knit-Cro-Sheen. 1 ball dark green Knit-Cro-Sheen;  #2 steel-crochet hook.   (Entire piece is worked in double thread).
