Crocheted Chair Set: This crocheted chair set, made of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton, can also be used as a buffet set, or the flower medallions can be joined to form a scarf. The chair back is 12 x 16, with the basket being 6 x 10 1/2. The arm rest is 7 x 10 inches.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.   The pattern was marketed as The American Weekly 3044 in 1940.

Materials:  Unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins;   No. 8 steel crochet hook.   The chair back requires approximately 225 yards of cotton, each arm rest requires approximately 72 yards of cotton. If the scarf is being made each rose medallion requires approximately 15 yards of cotton.
