And the choicest of them are crocheted., Here is a pair that is dressy and yet will do for sports wear as well. It is all in one color—brown—black—dark green— in short to match coat or suit; the lacy inset gives them a smart touch. They are held snug at the wrist by a tiny crocheted strap that buttons over. This shapes the wrist and makes the cuff flair out effectively. They are done in a simple stitch that goes very quickly.

Crocheted Gloves: This pattern gives directions to crochet the gloves pictured. These gloves are to be worked in Angel Crepe or Three-Fold Saxony entirely in one color. They have a crocheted strap that buttons over at the wrist. Directions are given below for making the gloves in a small, medium and large size.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements. The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 871 in 1934.

Materials: 3 balls black Angel Crepe or Three—Fold Saxony and 2 black buttons 1/2 inch in diameter. A No. 5 Steel Crochet Hook.
