Crochet Chair Set, Alice Brooks 6567

Crocheted Chair Set:  This crocheted chair set, made of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton, can also be used as a buffet set.   The chair back measures 12 x 15 inches.    The arm rests are 8-1/2 x 10 inches.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 6567 in 1939.  The newspaper description:  "Flower medallions crocheted separately in string, fill these baskets made of crocheted strips sewn together. This is your chance to be individual in your chair set".  

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: Unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins and a No. 8 steel crochet hook.  (The chair back requires approximately 200 yards of cotton; each arm rest requires approximately 100 yards of cotton).
