Crochet Butterfly Chair Set 3097

Crocheted Chair Set :  This pattern contains directions for a crocheted butterfly chair set. The wings of the butterfly and the arm rests are worked in the pineapple design. The set can be used on a buffet or vanity. It is worked of 30 Mercerized Crochet.  When completed, the chair back measures 12 x 16 inches and the arm rests are 6-1/2 x 7-1/2 inches each. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as The American Weekly 3097 in 1946.   It was also released under the Alice Brooks brand.

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: 2 (400 yard) balls of No 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No 10 steel crochet hook.
