Description

Crocheted Baby Cap : This pattern contains directions to crochet the cap pictured. This pattern is a lacy baby heirloom delight. The vintage design is from Farm and Fireside (who published between 1887 and 1939) - actual date unknown, but, based on language used, would place in the 1920's.

Materials: This cap may be easily and quickly made. The model is of No. 50 crochet cotton. If Silkateen or a heavier mercerized thread is used, it may be necessary to make fewer widening stitches, and to omit two or three rows of loop stitches, else the cap will be too large.
