This toque, that fits snugly over your hair keeping it orderly whether you are busily shopping or motoring and is comfortable even on hot days because of its laciness. It has met with great popularity at Southern resorts and promises to be outstanding for Summer. The matching collar and glove cuffs (they can be used as dress cuffs, too) are the smart woman's idea of harmony in her accessories. The design is the same as that of the hat -- it is a simple lace effect with popcorns adding a touch of interest.

CROCHET HAT, COLLAR AND CUFFS:  THIS PATTERN GIVES DIRECTIONS TO CROCHET THE ACCESSORY SET PICTURED.  INCLUDED IS A HAT, A COLLAR AND MATCHING CUFFS.   THESE ACCESSORIES CONSIST OF A TOQUE THAT FITS THE HEAD SNUGLY AND A COLLAR AND CUFF SET. THE CUFFS MAY BE USED AS DRESS OR GLOVE CUFFS. THE SAME DESIGN – A SIMPLE LACE EFFECT WITH POPCORNS - IS USED ON ALL THREE ARTICLES. THEY ARE TO BE WORKED IN ONE COLOR.    NOTE:  THIS PATTERN, AS WAS TYPICAL FOR THE TIMES, WAS WRITTEN IN ALL CAPS. 

THIS IS A MAIL ORDER DESIGN PATTERN PURCHASED THROUGH NEWSPAPER ADVERTISEMENTS.  THE PATTERN WAS MARKETED AS ALICE BROOKS 5329 IN 1935.  

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: 3 BALLS (1 OUNCE TO THE BALL) OF ANGEL CREPE (VELVEEN OR VELNETTE) OR 3 BALLS (500 YARDS TO THE BALL) OF CROCHET AND KNITTING COTTON, AND A NO. 5 STEEL HOOK TO MAKE THE ENTIRE SET.
