Clover Leaf Doily Luncheon Set, Filet Crochet

Clover Leaf : This pattern contains directions to crochet the luncheon set shown. This set includes the place mats that are 12 x 18 inches, as well as a centerpiece runner or scarf that is 12 x 32 inches. The center sections of these pieces are worked in filet crochet and the outer borders of clover leaf are in standard crochet. This pattern design is vintage 1937 from Bernhard Ulmann.

Materials:

• Bucilla Wondersheen (mercerized) Cotton, Article 3666, 3 skeins,or Bucilla Blue Label (delustered) Cotton, Article 3457, 3 skeins.
• 1 Bucilla Steel Crochet Hook, Size 7, Article 4300.

Gauge: Each clover leaf square when finished should measure 2-1/2 inches. Filet Center-4 spaces =1 inch, 4 rows= 1 inch.
