Description

Knitted Embroidered Cardigan: This pattern gives directions to knit the cardigan shown. This vintage design (written older style) features a girls cardigan, either short or long sleeved, with (optional) embroidery detail. "An adorable sweater is easy to knit for a child 2, 4 or 6 years of age. Dainty flowers in the pastel shades are embroidered on each side of the front.

This is a Mail Order Design Pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed by Needlework Bureau as No E-1104. The pattern was included in the 1950 Needlework Bureau Pattern Book.  

Materials:   3 - 2 oz. Balls Spanish or sport yarn – pink or desired color;   Knitting needles #2 and #4;   5 small 4 hole pearl buttons;   Embroidery thread
