Squares

Hundreds of Crochet Square patterns were marketed by the different brands.  As in the Medallions and Motifs, they intended purposes were tablecloths, bedspreads, and other home decor items.  The Laura Wheeler and Alice Brooks patterns each had two sizes of the pattern; Anne Cabot and her cohert had just one.  Most often, squares were in the 5 to 8 inch size, but, periodically, one can be found stretching upwards to 20.  A jumbo square, that could be used as a doily as well.  

This collection is a fraction of the square patterns marketed.   I'll add more as I come across them.
