Cable Cardigan : This pattern contains directions to knit the garment pictured. The vintage 1942 pattern was billed as a Cable Cardigan. It is indeed lovely as a cardigan, but in todays wear, it will be equally lovely as a blouse. The piece is short sleeves with a front button band, v-neckline, hip length and a strong cable band motif down the front. There are two cables on each panel side, with the first cable running the full length of the button band and the second cable half way. The only downside of this pattern is the directions are written for misses size 14 only.
