Description

Diagonal Striped Slipon : This pattern contains instructions for knitting the slipon pictured. This is a vintage 1950 Lily design for a little boys pullover. The pullover has long sleeves, a high round neckline, banded edges and a 4 color band that runs diagonally across the chest. The design is sized for little boys 2, 4 and 6. Large Charge, of course, is included for working the diagonal stripe.

Materials:

  • Lily Sportswear Yarn, 2-oz. ball. 2 (2,3) balls Navy (MC).
  • Small amounts of Medium Blue, Camel, Scarlet and Yellow.
  • No. 1 and No. 2 knitting needles.

GAUGE: 8 sts = 1"; 10 rows =1".

Chest Measurements Blocked: 22 (24,26)".
