American Weekly

The American Weekly Circular was distributed in Sunday newspapers in select regions of the United States.  Included in each issue was a pattern advertisement - knit, crochet, sewing, etc.  The viewer would send a letter, with payment, and the pattern would arrive in the mail a couple weeks later.   The patterns were the 'more' popular Laura Wheeler, Alice Brooks Designs, howere rebranded to a 3000 number series.

The American Weekly, instead of the bi-weekly single pattern offerings, they published a weekly offering which included a sampling of needlework patterns.

These are the patterns currently in my collection.   If you have others you'd be willing to trade or sell (for a small fee), please let me know.
