Alice Brooks Design 7194, Long Pineapple Crochet Runner Scarf Pattern

Crocheted Scarfs and Mats : This pattern contains directions for the crocheted scarf and mat pictured. In the always popular motif, this long scarf has a whole lot of pineapple stitch going on. From the center motif strip, a small row in the center and a growing border, there is only bits of lace between -- all pineapple ! Make both scarves and mats for a lovely luncheon set, or mix it up and go anyway your heart desires. Depending upon materials used, the scarf may be stitched at 14 x 28 (or any length desired), or 19 x 34 inches. The mats are 14 x 16 or 19 x 22. It doesn't matter how many pineapple motifs you already have; one more is always essential.

This pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7194 in 1957.  The pattern was featured in Alice Brooks 1956 Design Catalog. It was a quite popular pattern, being released under the Alice Brooks brand twice, as well as the Laura Wheeler brand.
