Oval Crochet Pineapple Doily Pattern Design 645

Crocheted Doilies : This pattern contains directions to crochet the doilies shown. This pattern is the always popular Pineapple Doily. This rendition is oval shaped and comes in small, medium and large sizes, each with the same central motif but differing edge variations. The large doily is a very large 21 x 31 inches, the medium is 13-1/2 x 20 inches and the small is 8 x 14 inches. All three are made using mercerized crochet cotton and a No 10 Steel Crochet Hook.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs in 1960.  This pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 645.   This pattern was included in the 1962 Needlework Pattern Catalog.
