Crochet Pinwheel Tablecloth Pattern


Colony Club No 7015: This pattern contains directions for crocheting the cloth pictured. The design, vintage 1936, is a 4 inch square block motif, light and lacy, that is called Colony Club. Crochet and join the motifs together to form a tablecloth that measures 64 x 80 inches. The blocks, of course, with a bit of math, can be created in a number of sizes for cloths of your choice.


  • Clark's O.N.T. or J. & P. Coats Mercerized Crochet, Size 30, White or Ecru.
  • Milward's steel crochet hook No. 9.

Blocks are about 4 inches square. Each block requires 25 yds. of thread and each 12 inches of edging, 25 yds. of thread. Finished cloth is 64 x 80 inches (16x20 blocks) and requires approximately 68 balls of Clark's O.N.T. or 49 balls of J. & P. Coats Mercerized Crochet.
