Two Pineapple Crochet Edgings, Anne Cabot 5508

Crocheted Edgings:   This pattern gives directions to crochet the Edging Pictured.   (Note:  This pattern does not include the embroidery transfer).  Here, you will have two crocheted edgings for use on linens ... or whatever you wish.  The first edging is a shell pineapple  and the second a classic pineapple.     

This is a Mail Order pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.   This pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot 5808 in 1947.   The newspaper description: "Beautifully embroidered pillow cases and dresser scarves trimmed with handsome edgings crocheted in the famous pineapple design will add a pleasantly decorative note to a comfortable furnished guest room. Even a amateur crocheter will be able to work these fine edgings without any trouble".
