Pineapple Wheel Doily Chair Set, Mail Order Design 2866

Crocheted Doily : This pattern contains directions to crochet the set shown. The motif, called a pineapple wheel, is designed as a chair set. The arms a single motif and the chair back a double sided motif. The design would easily serve as a runner or scarf as well. The actual finished dimensions of this design is not stated.

This is a mail order pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.   The pattern was marketed as Peggy Roberts (Needlework Bureau) in 1950.   This pattern was included in the 1956 Anne Cabot Needlework Album.  

MATERIALS:  Mercerized Crochet Thread, 3 large balls No. 30, Ecru or White; Steel Crochet Hook No. 10 (Standard size).
