Description

Crocheted Doilies:  This pattern contains directions for an oval and a round matching doilies worked in a combination of petal and shell stitches. Use either fine or heavy cotton; the choice of the cotton will govern the size of doilies. The round doilies are 11, 12 or 19 inches in diameter.  The oval doilies are 12 x 21, 14 x 24 or 22 x 36 inches.  

This is a Mail Order Design pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.   This pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 791 in 1967.   The pattern was included in the 1967 Needlecraft Patterns Catalog.
