Description

Crochet Mohair Jacket This pattern contains directions to crochet the jacket shown. This lovely jacket, Chanel styled and crocheted in mohair is made up of 2 1/2 inch motif blocks that are pieced together (with the assistance of included layout diagrams) for small (10-12), medium (14-16) and large (18-20). The lined jacket is hip length, featuring three quarter sleeves and scalloped around all edges.

This is a mail order pattern, typically purchased through newspapers and catalogs.   This pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot P-244 in 1965. 

Materials  REYNOLD"S #1 MOHAIR (91% Mohair, 9% Vinyon), 40 gram balls: 10 (12, 13) Balls in color desired;   Aluminum Crochet Hook #F;   1 ½ (1 ¾ – 1 ¾)yards of lining material in contrasting color.
