Flecked Sweater: This pattern gives directions for knitting the sweater pictured. An attractive design, vintage 1962, is a loose fitting sweater that features long sleeves, hip length and a large sailor type collar. This is an easy to intermediate pattern primarily worked in Stockinette Stitch. Directions for size 38. Changes for sizes 40 and 42 are in parentheses.

- Blocked Chest Size: 42" (44"-46").
MATERIALS: Jaeger Pebble-Spun Yarn, 26 (27-28) ozs.; 29" circular needle No. 3; 14" straight knitting needles Nos. 4 and 6. (Or English sizes 10, 9, and 7.); Matching heavy sewing thread.
GAUGE: 9 sts = 2"; 7 rows = 1" (stockinette st, No. 6 needles).
