Description
Knitted Blouse : This pattern contains directions for knitting the blouse pictured. This is a vintage design, going back to 1942, but from a fashion point, it fits right in with todays designs. Knit in a fairly easy all over rib stitch, the blouse has short sleeves with a slight cap, a fold over collar and a v-neckline that dips quite slow. The length goes to the hip. Back and front are worked in one piece—there is no seam at shoulders. The pattern is sized for misses / women at 14, with changes for 16 and 18 in parentheses.
Materials: 7 oz. 3-ply Fingering Wool for size 14; 8 oz. for sizes 16 and 18; 1 pr. #2 knitting needles; 1 steel crochet hook #4. Gauge: 9 sts. make 1 inch. 11 rows make 1 inch.
