Description
Knitted Shell: This pattern gives directions to knit, crochet edge, the shell pictured. This sleeveless top is an interesting color block variation; staggered large oblong blocks topping smaller blocks. A perfect summer selection at waist length in an easy pattern worked in stockinette stitch. It is written for misses size 10, with changes for 12, 14 and 16 in parentheses.
MATERIALS: Reynolds' Versailles, 2 [2 - 3 - 3] (50-gram - about 1 3/4 ounces) skeins white (color A), 2 [2 - 3 - 3] skeins red (color B); knitting needles, 1 pair No. 6, 1 pair No.8 (English needles No.7 and No.5); steel crochet hook No. 00; 1 snap.
