Knitted Boxy Jacket Skirt Pattern

Boxy Jacket with Slim Skirt : This pattern contains directions for knitting the outfit shown. The attractive set, a two piece suit, to be worn together, or as separated. The long sleeved jacket, with contrast trim around all openings and front buttoned band is below hip length. And, making it a standout, is the texturizing pattern stitch (see picture). Pair this up with a slim straight skirt with elasticized casing. The pattern, vintage 1950s, is misses size 14, with changes for 16 and 18 in parentheses.

Materials: Bear Brand or Fleisher's Casa-Liane Sport Yarn (2 oz. ball) .

• Skirt: Dark Color (A) 6 (6, 7) balls.
• Jacket: Dark Color (A) 4 (5, 5) balls; Light Color (B) : 4 (4, 5) balls.
• No. 6 knitting needles.
• No: 3 circular needle.
• No. 2 plastic crochet hook.
• No. 4 steel crochet hook.

Finished Knitted Measurements at Bust: Buttoned-37 (39, 41)".
