Bedspread Squares Knitting Pattern Design 593

Knitted Square:  This pattern contains directions for making a knitted bedspread of squares which are joined together. Use either Rug Cotton or Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton.   These pictures do not do this square justice!   Raised leaf motif in a diamond shape surround a petite flower. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7197.  It was included in the 1976 Needlecraft Patterns Catalog.   It was later marketed under the Alice Brooks Brand.
