Bedspread Squares Knitting Pattern Design 593

Knitted Square:  This pattern contains directions for making a knitted bedspread of squares which are joined together. Use either Rug Cotton or Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton.   These pictures do not do this square justice!   Raised leaf motif in a diamond shape surround a petite flower. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7197.   It was later marketed under the Alice Brooks Brand.
