Granny Square Crochet Vest Pattern Mail Order Design 820

Crocheted Vest : This pattern contains directions for crocheting the vest pictured. A pretty vest, so perfect for Spring, in a floral two color design. The pattern is sized small (30-32-34), medium (36, 38, 40) or Large (42-44-46). Crochet the appropriate number of blocks designated for each size and join together with included blocking charts.

This pattern is a mail order pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.   The pattern was marketed as Martha Madison 820.  

Materials: Use 4-ply lightweight orlon or wool Worsted Yarn, and work with a #1 steel crochet hook in even tension, that all the blocks may measure 4-inches on a side.

For Small Size (30, 32, or 34), make 35 Blocks and 4 Half-Blocks;   For Medium Size (36, 38, or 40), make 42 Blocks and 10 Half-Blocks;   For Large Size (42, 44, or 46), make 47 blocks and 10 Half-Blocks.
