God Bless Our Home Filet Crochet Mail Order R-2444

Filet Chair Set:   This pattern gives directions to create the 'Gold Bless Our Home' chair set pictured.   A lovely design that is worthy of framing as well.  The chair back will measure 16 x 11 inches and each arm rest is 11-1/2 x 8 inches.   Full page (8-1/2 x 11) charts are included. 

This is a Mail Order pattern, purchased through newspapers.   This pattern was marketed as Peggy Roberts in 1946 and Anne Cabot in 1957.   The pattern was included in the Anne Cabot 1963 Needlework Album, the 1968 Anne Cabot Needlework Album, as well asthe Anne Cabot 1975 Needlework Album. 

Materials:   For chair back measuring approximately 16" by 11", and 2 arm pieces measuring approximately 11-1/2" by 8": 5 balls of best six-cord mercerized crochet cotton, size 20 (400 yds to each ball) and Steel crochet hook No. 10.   For chair back measuring approximately 13-1/2" by 9", and 2 arm pieces measuring approximately 10" by 7": 5 balls of best six-cord mercerized crochet cotton, size 30 (400 Yds to each ball) and Steel crochet hook No. 11.
