Delicate Doily Set, Pineapple Border, Mail Order 335

Delicate Doily Set:  This pattern gives directions to crochet the doilies pictured.  "Simple, yet beautiful -- that describes these lovely matching pieces in crochet! Round (11-inch), oval (10 x 21), square (16 x 16); shapes that find a place in a living-room or boudoir as if they were made for it -- which, in fact, they are. The motif is pineapple, a modern version".

This is a Mail Order pattern, purchased through newspapers advertisements and catalogs.   The pattern was marketed as Martha Madison 335 in 1960 and earlier under Needlework Bureau.  The pattern was included in the 1950 Needlework Bureau Pattern Book.  

Material:   #30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton; about 250 yards for the round doily, 350 yards for the square one, and 300 yards for the oval-shaped piece;   Use #10 steel crochet hook and work evenly.
