Crocheted Toddler Party Dress in Shell Stitch

The dress, sized for our youngest of toddlers -- size 1 and 2 -- is crocheted in a lacy shell stitch. It features a high trimmed bodice, round neckline with 5 button neck closure and puff sleeves. The neck, sleeves and bodice are all trimmed in velvet ribbon. This is a special dress that will be deeply loved by all but the tomboys!

What You Need for Toddler Sizes 1 and 2: ROYAL SOCIETY SIX CORD CORDICHET;  Large Ball, Size 30: SIZE 1 or 2 — 3 balls of White or Ecru;   Small Ball, Size 30: SIZE 1 — 7 balls of White, Beige or Ecru; or 8 balls of Color. SIZE 2 — 8 balls of White, Beige or Ecru; or 9 balls of Color;   Steel Crochet Hook No. 10;   4 yards narrow velvet ribbon;   6 buttons.

GAUGE: 1 solid shell and 1 lacy shell make 1 1/8 inches; 5 rows make 1 inch.
