Crocheted Pineapple Fan Doily Pattern Design 1171

Fan Chair Set - Pineapple Motif : This pattern contains directions to make the chair set pictured. A different than typical pineapple shell design, this one is worked in a fan shape. The set includes a chair back and two arm rests. (The arm rests almost resemble bells). The actual dimensions are not given.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.   The pattern was marketed as Ellen Bruce E-1171 (Needlework Bureau).   The simple newspaper  description: "Crochet this dainty fan shaped chair set in pretty pineapple design".   The pattern was included in the 1950 Needlework Bureau Pattern Book.
