Crocheted Pillbox Conical Hat Design 869

Crocheted Hats : This pattern contains directions to crochet the two hats pictured. The hats are crocheted in a fluffy loop stitch, using three strands of fine 3-ply fingering yarn held together. Make either the pillbox or the cone shaded style in sparkling white or black, or your favorite color. They can be made either small or large to fit all head sizes.

This is a mail order pattern, purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs. This pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 869 in 1960.  The pattern was included in Needlecraft Services 1963 Pattern Catalog.
