Description
Crocheted Potholders: These two bluebird potholders are made of four strands of Crochet and Knitting Cotton worked together. The designs are worked entirely in single crochet. Included in the pattern is a chart for each potholder, also directions describing how the charts are to be used. They can either be made in two shades of the same color or of unbleached and a color to match your kitchen. The first bluebird is 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches and the second is 6 1/2 x 6 3/4 inches.
This is a Mail Order Design pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs. This pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 2823 in 1941. Do them in reverse colors as shown - use the predominating colors of your kitchen".
