Crocheted Bedspread Medallion Pattern Laura Wheeler Design 2443

Morning Star Crocheted Medallion: This pattern gives instructions to crochet the medallion pictured. This crocheted medallion can either be made of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton or of No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. When joined together the medallions form bedspreads, cloths, scarfs, pillows and other household articles. Depending upon materials chosen, medallion will measure 5 1/2 or 7 inches diagonally.

Materials:  Unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins and a No. 9 steel crochet hook; or No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton in (150 yard) balls and a No. 10 steel crochet hook.   Each medallion requires approximately 50 yards of heavy cotton or 55 yards of fine cotton. One skein of cotton is required for fringe.
